MySpeed™ Server adds popular download, upload connection speed measurement capabilities to any Web site
TURLOCK, CALIF. – June 2, 2004 – Visualware Inc. today announced the availability of MySpeed Server, an Internet speed test tool that can be added to any existing Web server to provide connection testing services for visitors.
MySpeed enables Web site visitors to easily test their bandwidth performance for both upload and download data transfers. The results are provided in an easy-to-read comparison chart showing the spectrum from slow dial-up connections to high-end T4 lines. In addition to upload and download speeds, MySpeed measures quality of service, roundtrip time and maximum pause. An upload burst speed result is provided when supported by the modem being tested.

MySpeed’s key features include:

MySpeed Server licenses start at $249 for a single-domain, single-server license. MySpeed is a Java applet and can be hosted on any platform running a standard Web application server, such as Apache or Microsoft IIS. Evaluation versions may be downloaded from www.visualware.com.
