This is a testimonial on what a great product VisualRoute has served me in a recent case of online fraud that was in progess. Another police agency asked for my help in tracking down a perpetrator who was using the internet as a means to defraud people out of money for pirated copies of Windows. The requesting police agency believed the perpetrator was in Canada but when I had received a copy of one of the e-mails 'she' had sent, by reading the headers and obtaining an IP address I was able to utilize VisualRoute to locate the 'real' internet service provider at which time a subpoena was obtained for a local ISP in southern Mississippi and ultimately shut down the operation which resulted in the arrest of the perpetrator.
Thank you VisualRoute for a great program. Without you this criminal would have caused many more financial losses to vendors that has copyrights to such software. Police are constantly searching for tools to catch the criminals as they seem to be getting smarter each day. With VisualRoute, we were able to stay one foot ahead of the this person. You can run but you can't hide from VisualRoute. Thanks again for a great product.

Here's a story about Visual Route you may find interesting. For the past four years until this past July I lived in Accra, Ghana and traveled throughout West Africa where I met many people and made many friends. A couple of months ago, September I believe, someone put up a pornographic website with the domain name www.accrawomen.com. Well, many people in Accra and other places in Ghana were very upset. It hit all their newspapers and radio talk shows. Everyone wanted it taken down but nobody knew what to do about it. A few friends there asked me to help so with your software it only took a few minutes to get the person's name, address and phone number plus the host's info, too. I knew it might be wrong to disclose this information but I went ahead and sent it to a government agency, newspapers and radio stations. The government picked up on it and it hit the newspapers and the talk shows, too. The next day the site was down but I never did find out how it happened. I got an official thank you from the government.

I have used Visualroute for the last three days and found it excellent because in the past a recorded attack on my home computer although using internet alert 99 could not be traced, now with VisualRoute I can trace such intrusions. For me personally this is excellent as I have just changed isps and now receive attacks or whatever on a regular basis about 3 times a night.

I want to thank your company for creating VisualRoute.
Thanks to your software, I, a simple college student was able to track down a computer thief. Somebody stole my friends computer, and was having fun using AOL IM and my friend's stolen screen name to piss us all off. He would go onto AOL IM and laugh at us. I was able to use that to my advantage. I ran "netstat" and found several possible IP address for the thief. Then, I used VR to trace it and find out key information. I found out the IP was a University IP and got all the contact info for the University technology department. I was able to contact the system administrator, via phone, and they were ale to identify the dorm room from which the IP address came. The criminal was caught, and my friend got his computer back.

I'm using 5.0b (build 933) of your product and now I find that I'm getting calls from our MIS department wanting to know what VR reports for our web sites.
This isn't something I use daily, but when I need it, there is nothing else I've seen that provides me with the information in a format that is easy to interpret and gives me the kind of information I can really use.
After an attempted "Trojan Horse" hack I traced back to the user and the administrator for that user and reported the attempt. The Admin sent me email that the user's Internet privileges had been revoked. This was from a major university. VR made the research easy.

Your program has more then paid for itself within the past few months. As an ISP, we are often a target of hackers. Since July, we have tracked down and identified several hackers attempting to access our system and/or our client sites by using several dos commands, system logs, and your program to help track and identify the true ID and source of these attempts.

This is a very easy to work with and install. It gives you all of the necessary information and you can scale the information accordingly. Visually, it is very easy to show what is happening, And the snap graph function is great.

I was having lots of problems getting to our web sites until I ran VisualRoute and was able to narrow where the problems were. I called my ISP and gave them the names of the problem nodes and voila, my connections are now a LOT faster.
